Jallan
BHR, the only thing that throws it off is the damn "engine start" words on it. You might as well go in with a label maker and mark "ignition", "steering wheel", "accelerator" and whatnot. That is 100% "Uncle Ben's" RICE! Stealthy, it's not. Thank you, I thought I was the only one. If you have it, hide it so it's a security feature also. That thing sticks out...well....like a red button on a tan dash. At least change it to a solid black button, or some kind of stock mazda button.
///BHRpowered
the rice buttons are blank and do not light up, the oem ones are more this style and red regardless of interior color. I would of course love a mercedes style shifter, rounded with wood and a brushed alum start button on top of the shifter
MilleniaOn18s
how is push button start rice??? bmws and bens' have em. they arent rice...
Jallan
how is push button start rice??? bmws and bens' have em. they arent rice... The button itself is not rice, the white "engine start" letters in that cheesy font are. If that button were exactly like it is without the words, it would look much better. mohamedeladawy@hotmail.com
HAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHA. yaaa the style button is not great at all. i suggest taking that button and painting it matte black and using your labeling technologies, label it as "ignition" or w/e u want. itll look much nicer. also, i know for a fact that not all companies have it in red. only ferrari and honda. MilleniaOn18s
i want one that lights up a nice blue color. so far, every light inside my car is either blue or white. everything im doing will be either black or blue. since those are the only two colors im doing. ///BHRpowered
actually every oem button I have seen says "engine start" and no, I do not want a matte black, thats retarded. as I said, the mercedes style shifter button would be my choice if it were possible
Renboy
as I said, the mercedes style shifter button would be my choice if it were possible It's a shifter and a button, what's the hold-up?
///BHRpowered
ren - I'm talking about the mercedes shifters where the top center has the start button and is colored to match with the interior or shifter
mohamedeladawy@hotmail.com
dude..its soo fucking possible. just get a custom made button that can fit over the shifter. i have opened up my shifter b4 and its very easy provided i have the tools and money. shouldnt take more than 20 minutes installing and however much time frabicating a button to fit it over. Hitman
Actually the more ideal approach would be something like what plat did. Simply get the actual shifter from mercedes or ebay, or a junk yard, wire the button to the starter as you would, then drill a hole in the side for the overdrive button. I assume this can be done since plat moved his. Some wiring experiance and alot of time should do it
Dallasaurora
i want one that lights up a nice blue color. so far, every light inside my car is either blue or white. everything im doing will be either black or blue. since those are the only two colors im doing. That's what I have and it's a nice brushed steel look that blends perfectly with the car... And I disagree with what people say...there's a lot of MORE pointless things that people do to their cars ! mts
how is push button start rice??? bmws and bens' have em. they arent rice... That is right BMW and Mercedes have them.... along with a few other high end manufatcurers.... the Millenia however never had one nor does it need one. Hitman
the millenia went out of production before they were put on production cars, however its important it matches either the interior, or the theme of the car.

///BHRpowered
except remote starts on millenia's are stupid and have always caused some problems down the road. personally I think remote starts are pointless, you have to go to the car anyway
mohamedeladawy@hotmail.com
ya but we also drive ours daily. and i dont feel like going outside in the 19 degree weather in my pajamas to start my car and then coming back inside. the car needs time to warm up. ///BHRpowered
so be a man, get up 10 minutes earlier, get dressed, and then you sit in the car and help it warm up.
