///BHRpowered
Its no secret I have been chasing after the electic folding mirrors found in some xedos and an extremely rare option in the eunos. I secured the mirrors at great cost with the assistance of the great troutman, Now, through the same country of origin I have secured the switch The switch that I have only seen for sale ONCE in the last year at a cost of nearly 100 dollars. http://cgi.ebay.com.au/Mazda-Eunos-800-Ele...p3286.m20.l1116 I picked this one up shipped internationally for only 21 dollars!!!! And heres the best part, the seller has 2 of them for sale - the other is more pricey for a complete unit, but if your looking to upgrade.... Troutman
Good work, I was going to say the local cars didn't have that, but it is as stated a JDM part.
///BHRpowered
I believe the eunos800 did, but im not sure which years. the mirrors I got were from an in-country eunos800. until I get the switch I have no way of knowing if they work or not, but when taking them apart I can confirm there is some sort of motor in there. Troutman
The Japanese model was also called Eunos 800.
///BHRpowered
the guy was parting out an eunos in oz, where it came from I cannot confirm, but I would say the same place. it was like a 99 or something...perhaps in the later years it was added

Task514
I might be wrong, but that switch seem to be for rhd vehicle.
ing-schu@online.no
It sure is. The LHD switch is placed in the area where a sircle is visible in the plastic switch frame. Guess we ruined the day for BHR now...
///BHRpowered
not at all, infact it opens up the possiblity of adding something else It will however ruin my day if say only one of the mirrors work or the connector is different. enginph
My bro's xedos: I see there is a spot for LHD button. Maybe you can move the button to the right?
Troutman
That would make sense... but I'm guessing wiring would need to be run from one mirror to the other.
enginph
That would make sense... but I'm guessing wiring would need to be run from one mirror to the other. For sure.
aamerh
worst case slightly mod it so the button is on the right spot rater than the left. Might take some work though
///BHRpowered
I doubt it can be moved, xedos is partly right, at first (just before I paid) I was alittle upset, but then it gave me an amazing idea and why this will work. I simply plan to make a hole for the new button using a donor trim piece until its perfect, I then want to take the left over hole where the cap currently sits and put a small button which would control the boost ballasts. something I'v always struggled with is finding a spot for aftermarket switches, this solves the problem in a very oem way besides, 20 bucks for what I have only seen once before at 4x the price + shipping? I couldn't pass it up
Task514
I doubt BHR will be able to pull this off... Look at how the button is tighly fitted... You'll either ruin the trim piece, ruin your interior door panel or ruin the oem look! Your only solution is to dismantle that switch and integrate it into your switch. You'll need to drill out a hole in your switch, which should be easy because the hole is now simply covered by a plug. And then you'll need to wire the mirrors. Without the schematic, good luck. ing-schu@online.no
Yeah, good luck is what's needed.
///BHRpowered
Yes, it is, thats why I decided to use a donor trim piece I got cheaply off EBAY usa. besides, how often will something like this come up? worst case is that I test the mirrors and 1 is broken or something. That way I'm only out 20 instead of paint and everything else

///BHRpowered
which part/how come? Any chance you want to help with my tranny cooler install on the millenia? Have not received part yet, I figure atleast 10-14 days shipping
enginph
Dont use cheap zip ties to install the cooler. Someone used them and now he has rad leaks. I never understood how come people used plastic ties to hold the tranny cooler in place. There should be a better install..
SteveSter
Well, they arent just regular zip ties. They have foam on the small plates to prevent that. I think that happened out of carelessness.
