mohamedeladawy@hotmail.com
only from the cat to the muffler. even still?!
Synesthesia
2.5 works quite well on the millenia, as it is a boostest engine you shouldn't lose tq from a lack of backpressure. The problem is to put a universal muffler on you have to cut the factroy piping somewhere, meaning a clamp of some kind or welding, and those clamps always leak. -The Joker
Renboy
Weld or have welded a flange on the existing pipe where the cut was made, and a flange on the new muffler. Put gasket between flanges and bolt together.

mattlau89
Ok lets say i want a muffler that sounds good with a deep tone but not that ricer sound. Would i sound good if i left my stock muffler there and buy a borla muffler tip like this one http://www.borla.com/products/product_mult...e-Cut+w%2fClamp

///BHRpowered
ok, that thing you linked on ebay is beyond rice, probably spits out eggrolls going down the road and will rust through in a few weeks. its a millenia, not a cheap civic. I highly suggest remus, but ractive, borla, and magnaflow have been met with alot of success among members

ChiTown
Ok lets say i want a muffler that sounds good with a deep tone but not that ricer sound. Would i sound good if i left my stock muffler there and buy a borla muffler tip like this one http://www.borla.com/products/product_mult...e-Cut+w%2fClamp if you have the 2.5 engine check out probetalk.com they have the same engine and may have sound/vidoe clips for you, if you have an S i cant help at this point... make shure the tip you get would look right on a LUXURY car, something like a BMW lexus or even the maxima. no fart cans. malices tip looked pretty good but i like the twin tip because it is not too large, distracting, looks OEM and is still a performance idicator. borla make something that looks like my old remus for much cheaper i believe.... maybe a little ricee but i specifically aked them to have it stick out enough to read the remus logo. it was aggressive looking but i think i will tuck the tips back on the new ride this time. mts
I would have them tucked also...
///BHRpowered
mts, I don't think so, the remus exhaust looks excellent sticking out just a bit to see the true stamped in logo and name, you don't want to truly tuck it under the car
mohamedeladawy@hotmail.com
usually i would agree with mts on this...however, if i were to own a remus, i would like the emblem just to show a lil bit. it works for that particular muffler due to the size and shape of the tips. other than that, tucked all the way

///BHRpowered
a remus muffler is about 375, factor in another 120 since it has to be welded on and atleast 1 custom bend. its actually much more cost effective to do the 2.5 custom exhaust
